RC monster trucks are a passion of the team at JConcepts. Having a finely detailed vehicle is part of the enjoyment and allowing builders to build their favorite vehicles of today and yesteryear. The new engine accessory set contains a host of parts, pieces, and hardware to make dream creations a reality. The injection molded parts, designed by JConcepts, replicate carburetor and injection assemblies commonly used in high performance engines and seen on many of the monsters of the 1980’s, 1990’s, and 2000’s. 

To start things off, it was a necessity to have carburation needs covered and with 5 included per package, it’s possible to assemble a dual, or triple carburetor setup like those used throughout motorsports history. Included parts allow a builder to mock-up larger and smaller air filter setups to cover earlier and later generations. Plenum for triple carburetor and optional mounting plates are included so assemblies can be built, fitted, and retrofitted to many different body styles with instructions to set mounting locations, centers, and general guidelines. 

A vertical injection assembly made it into the design featuring chrome plated covers with dual stealth black mock air filters and with the help of the plenum, and a mounting base, it serves as placement for the assembly. This combination of parts can mount directly on top or below the body surface for desired look. Hardware and general mounting guideline are also included so the user can mark the spacing needed for hole placement on the body or desired mounting surface. In addition, two chrome exhaust stacks are included which can mount to the body to have exhaust features rising out of a body.

Going injection style with a blower hat is easy, and with a combination of the components included, there are multiple looks to choose from. First, there is an upper and lower assembly style that sandwiches an inner component and creates an open butterfly look. For an installed air filter setup, change the inner item, add the stealth black air filter, and top off with chrome cap and it’s an amazingly detailed piece for many of the high-performance imagery builds.
